Benyon
I had to take my car off road when I lost my job and its just sat there, its got MOT and tax but not insured. My Friend is taking her car into a body shop having 3 days worth of work done on it and I said she can borrow my car for the 3 days if she can find insurance on it. So far no luck, most companys cant find the car (80's supra it comes up with). Anyway does anyone know any companys that she can try later? P.S. My car is the only one she can get to use for her going to work, otherwise she would be using a "Cheaper" car.
RobSheffield
There are daily insurance companies out there, but its expensive cover aint great So if its a Supra, i would suggest she hires a car from Enterprise or something. They do a Ka at like £20 a day and its insured.
jimmenico
I recall had the Supe insured for 5 days (tempcover.com) and it cost about 80 GBP all in (fully comp).

RobSheffield
Ahh the free driveaway insurance thing. The one thats only available for cars newer than 10 years old?
Benyon
Thanks for the link Brendon but like rob said I think thats cars newer than 10 years. i will tell her about that Enterprise thing rob, but I would do me a favour if she drove my car because its not been driven for a month. Ive only moved it down my backing (about 100 meters) so it would be nice to have it driven for a few days. Out of interest what would happen if she got insured on the car properly then cancelled the policy a few days after?
