Ark
Now I've got your attention I'm talking about the windscreen-top spoilers that pop out when you take your targa roof off. I find that when travelling at more than about 40 MPH, the air pressure just flattens them, and I get loads of air buffeting in the cabin. If I hold them up with my spare hand, the buffeting stops, the spoilers take effect, and the air whistles over the cabin roof - noisy but effective. So, any ideas anyone? Thanks, Chris
paul_y3k
hmmm i thought they were meant to go down at that speed, mine do. I'm sure i read somewhere that it was to prevent a low pressure area forming at lower speeds in the sabni causing uncomfortableness to the passenger .. i could of course be wrong .. i normally am lol

dangerous brain
They are meant to drop at about 60-70mph when the airflow charachteristics of the car starts to shift (same reason that open sunrooves make funny noises at around the 60mph marker in other cars). mine sometimes don't which when you get to three figure speeds is very noisy and annoying. Alex
Its designed to do it...but if you think it's gotten weak over time and is going down too early then your only option is to replace the parts with new from Toyota.
