mk2john
I would be interested in coming along for this if I can get away with it in my MKII..... I have used APT before, they did the pre conversion run on my car and I was not even a little bit impressed with the service to be honest. Ipswich is not to far though. Ian C
Try SCA Race and Rally on Sweetbriar industrial estate in Norwich. They are nice people, know what they are on about, and I trust them. I know for a fact their dyno goes past 600bhp as well, and it's fairly accurate, maybe a bit over-readey. They are proper mechanics as well, not just monkeys. Clive Atthowe I wouldn't touch with a bargepole. It's a diesel chip tuning box shifting place, and they annoyed me a few years back by lying about my car to my face. BazzaAlpine
I prob wouldn't go to ipswich but would go to Norwich as there are people (not from the club) I know there. Still think £40 is a bit steep but at least I've had my bonus now so could prob fork out for it.
Aero-M
http://www.sca-racerally.co.uk/rolling-road/ Only go upto 460bhp according to the website. Will be fine as long as no singles were coming.
Notractionin4th
APT held a rolling road day a few weeks ago for a local club I'm a member of called Bigpower.co.uk, respectable turn out and number of people willing to pay the 40 squid to run. I took mine to APT to have the cambelt changed and boost controller fitted, only cos i know him fairly well and know i can trust him. I wouldn't trust Clive Atthowe, nor would i trust SCA unless they have changed, i haven't been to them in years! I remember going there and being served by Gary (owner of APT), thats where he started out
