Suprab1
Just buy a boost gauge, better to be safe than sorry.
johnny g
By only running the one? hehe. You could get one of Nodalmighty's gauges which take readings direct from the Syvecs, or just a simple, good quality boost gauge.
JamieP
You will need a boost solenoid if you want the syvecs to control boost, Ryan sells them im sure. Ryan can read the boost via his laptop but you wont be able to read the boost unless you get a gauge, i read my boost via the dash2.

johnny g
Yea, your AEM will have had a boost solenoid, but you might as well refresh for a few quid. They're not expensive.
JamieP
would my aem of not needed a boost solenoid? Yes if you used the AEM to control the boost , but above you state you sold your boost controller.

johnny g
I'd get Ryan to do a complete install if I were you. A newer part, all tied in nicely together.

dandan
I never look at my boost gauge any more. At bpu I'd watch it like a hawk but i don't worry about it now with the single and syvecs install. It might be handy for quick trouble shooting though if the need arose and ecu logs weren't convenient or quick enough.
