Graham S
Clutch is a clutch mate... To be honest there is no real bedding in period so as long as you've fitted it right will work out the box. Have you spoke to Suprash? He runs NA-T for the BDC and as far as I know is still on his first clutch at 300+ HP
Kirk
has anybody had any experience of the act extreme clutches? I run one on my car. Clutch takes the abuse all day long and holds well but the trade off is a horrible clutch pedall. Its like a mm off the floor which isn't so good. I wouldn't be surprised if our very own Mr Wilson could up with a nice uprated clutch but unless there's enough interest I wouldn't hold my breathe! dr_jekyll
superb , im not botherd by the 1mm travel as its a track car only and . what model of clutch did you go for and what power levels are you running at? im currently between 380-400 at the fly but i have quiet and agressive torque curve when the boost comes in

dr_jekyll
i have heard of the competition clutch , im thinking of the stage 5, i cant handle a slipping clutch again
Parry_10
yeh mine is stage 4 or 5 the stage 5 one might be the 4 puck one, I have heard the competition clutches are the best to go for for the w58 box running bpu power, i paid £370 all in for mine from whifbitz and comes with a release bearing, pilot bearing and allignment tool aswel
dr_jekyll
can you flat shift from 3rd to 4th with epic clutch slip? my car is around 400bhp and any sharp changes = bad slip and box vibration . i think the stage 5 is 4puk will the 4puk have better pwer handleing than the 6 puk
Parry_10
to be honest I would give paul a ring at whifbitz as he will know more than me, in theory the 4 puck should handle more power but I dont think you need it the 6 puck is fine for that amount of power I have given mine some abuse it doesnt slip but I have been getting some vibration from the box
w41k3r
I ordered the stage 4 from paul as he said it was perfect for na-t im sure he said the clutch was holding fine on a 400bhp car hopefully all will be good with it and as said £370 all in
