Guest cjquicksilve
this has proberbly been asked 1000s of times, i will be looking at getting a new set of wheels for the supra, im going to run 18s and was thinking 8j on the front and 9.5/10j on the rears? what sort of offset would i need to have to run those sizes or are those not recomended for a supra, hopfuly get some rota gtr'ds :-)
Nic
The stock wheels are Front 17 x 8.0 +50 offset Rear 17 x 9.5 +50 offset Stock sizes/offsets will give you the best handling and ride quality. Offset wise you could go down to around +30, this will move the wheel closer to the wheel arches, the arches may need rolling to prevent the tyres from rubbing. Do you know what brakes you have fitted? The Supra came with 2 options the larger F-4pot/R-2pot and the smaller F-2pot/R-1pot. If you have the larger brakes you will need to make sure the wheels will clear the larger/wider calipers. There are quite a few members with Rota wheels, so hopefully they'll be able advise what size/offset they are using.
Guest cjquicksilve
ok thanks for the info so idealy a 45+ offset on the fronts and 35+ offset on the rear with the wider rim would work?
