Does anyone fix camera on here and know if they can help or wheather its best to just sell as spares or repairs and get a new one. caseys
We may have an old Canon D30 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EOS_D30) going spare at the moment, will have to check with the missus. It still gives remarkably good shots for a DSLR that's 11 years old! Otherwise I'd highly recommend the packages you can get for the canon 500/550D Si

caseys
Just checked, Canon D30, inc rechargeable battery, charger, 18-55mm lens (need to verify), lens cap and canon strap and a lens cleaner (if I can find it). 2Gb card in it as well. Full metal body unlike our newer 500D... the 30D was Canon's first DSLR so had a lot in it that you'd have to pay for a 5D or 30D now on. Review http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canond30/ Let me know if you want it, probably 120 + postage? Hard to gauge what it's worth second hand, as on ebay.com they vary from $200 for body only to $250-700 with just single lens! I'd say it takes photos better than my Lumix compact which has double the resolution and is 7 years younger... Pics here taken with it from our family visit/holiday in Singapore/Malaysia. First 7 are SLR as examples http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?176103-Holiday-in-Malaysia-Singapore&highlight=singapore If not another member on here has enquired about it, so can you let us know either way chap? Cheers Si
