bobapple
Bit of a noobie question, but I finished installing my hard pipe kit this week, only just been for a test drive bringing the second tubby online and it has always had the tubby whistle noise but now it's 10 fold, is that due to the pipes or have I not done a clamp up properly along the way. Still pulling about 1 bar of boost. Thanks Si

ManwithSupra
I have a hard pipe kit on mine but there is no difference in the sound. Sounds like you may have a small leak, does your boost start to tail off once its reached peak?
Lee_e
Have you fitted a new air filter or after-market filter ? I can hear my turbo spool savagely but i have vented bonnet and apexi cone filter, sorry to hi-jack thread but can this spool up be dampened or suppressed any way without putting the stock box back on ? Chris Wilson
I can't say I have detected any difference in noise when fitting a hard pipe kit. Check all coupling carefully again.
