Another productive day, the cage is now 100% fitted, could do with a clean again now though but may aswell wait till I finish the rest of the interior bits.

Boot carpet, and both boot trims had to be trimmed to get it all fitted back to its original state. Very happy though :)

Also popped a couple of LED reverse bulbs into it as one had blown, old vs new pic below

Now on to the next job.

Thanks guys.

Done a few more little bits today, finished the edges of the arm rests and have now fitted them. Also while I was behind the door card I changed all the screws in the home made speaker brackets as they were rattling all of a sudden. Much better now, the old ones where not really man enough, and after 3+ years they were no longer doing their job.

Also fitted all the Black dipped bolt covers for the seats, be interesting to see how hard wearing the dip is, but they look very OEM which Im happy about.

3rd job was deciding to scrap the leatherette on the sub enclosure already, I looked junk so going to skim it, fist layer has been applied now to start the sanding.

Finally I have removed all the dash panels ready to wiring the sub and amp in, and have also taken the OEM clock out ready for it to replaced with the White one. Just waiting for the White filter to go behind the clear screen I have put in a spare clock. Also while Im behind there I need to give the AC buttons some attention.

Thats about it for today, other than giving it a quick wipe over as its very dusty and sticking the battery on charge to see if it is goosed or just dead.

Got the car booked in for the 24th at the body shop, Will be having the sideskirts repaired and re-painted and picking up the parts I dropped of before Christmas, so will have some more engine bay bits :) Also going to be having a chat about a few upcoming projects for later in the year.

Few pictures.

And just to add, a list of bits I'm after if anyone can help.

Cheers guys took alot of faffing to get them right.

So as planned I have removed the skirts today ready for paint, dropping them to paint next monday and will collect them at the end of the week. No more Crack! :D and will be ditching the TRD decals too as they were only there to take your eye of the damage.

Also fitted a couple of fancy jubilee clips I purchased from the NEC, other than that i have just given it a wipe down as I'm waiting on a delivery now of bits. Holding me up a little

oooo a tension set! how did you get on with welding the feet?...and cutting the carpet

No welding was done, looked into it and all the other cars with them fitted have just had thread inserted into the cars chasis rails, so I went with this option too.

Looking good mate!

Thanks :) Trying to think what im going to do to the engine bay next. Got a few knew ideas.
