I can appreciate the hard work on the throttle and Y branch mate. I haven't done it myself but recently bought some from here and can tell there is some serious elbow grease involved!

Thanks mate, it is indeed hard work. Since moving away I no longer have access to all the tools that would make this job much easier, but not to worry im not afraid of manual labour lol. Got a fair bit done on it yesterday but didn't get any pictures.

some good work Jake well done

Thanks mate, shes still serving me well hope your vvti is going strong.

What sub are you using dude, will the rear seats still be usable?

I have a 12" shllow mount Pyle sub, along with a amp, cant remember what brand. And a Fli wiring kit.

The rear seats will still be there, but the sub will block the seat belts so they wont be usable per-say, but the sub will be able to be disconnected and removed quickly and easily, so if needed they will be able to be used. However its the car is just my toy these days so its normally only me driving or just one passenger so should be perfect for my needs. Just fancied doing something different.

How's the sub going to mount to the seat jake? Also are your glassing it I take it?

Not sure yet, thinking about mounting two bolts out the back so it bolts from the back of the seats, between the top an lower part. Either that or some sticky Velcro strips, or option three is mount some threaded bolts coming out of the seatbelt wholes into the base of the sub box.

It is being covered with fabric then glassed over yeah, Have covered it but the materials too thick so struggling to get rid of the creases. Going to by some thin fabric and have another go. Going to then cover it with a layer of sponge then re cover or get it done professionally so its a similar texture to the dash. That's the plan anyway.

I'd just make sure what ever u do make sure it can't move, that coming at you from the back won't be fun.

It sure is different I'll give you that, I think in the long run you may be better re designing the seats and having it through rather than on the seat, will look foward to updates! Covering it with a simular material to the dash is a good idea

It will be secure mate don't worry about that. If I'm going to do a job it will be done properly. I like the idea and have only seen it done once on inferno's build so I want it to be different but still look oem-esk.

May get in contact with a trimmer to give me a guestimate before I attempt it on my own.

Well she passed MOT, got three advisories.

One front tyre low, just legal

On the same corner the caliper is binding just in limit

and one bush on the back with a very small amount of play.

Not bad for a twenty year old car, never failed one yet.

So she is going to get treated to some new calipers and hopefuly a new set of wheels and tyres.

As a treat ive already got the pulleys back from the paint shop in a course metallic red, ready for me to lay the candy over.

And the rocker covers are being polished as we speak.

Also took her for a drive and got some pictures :)

thankyou guys, nice to get such nice comments about an NA as they get so much jip on here.

One side of the rockers covers is back and I'm sure I'm not fan of the months, as ive changed my mind and decided to scrap the polishing and get them painted 199 too. Makes scene as its lower maintenance and should still look good plus everyone polishes.
