ripped_fear
Thanks for the coments guys. Really pleased with them. As for the stud length they where perfect. Not lowered yet rog going to try this garage in portsmouth to have the coilovers fitted and set up. They will definetly scrub, but the garage does arch rolling so shouldnt be an issue. - - - Updated - - - Thanks for the coments guys. Really pleased with them. ripped_fear
Looks great with the spacers!! Thanks bud. Just paid for 2x titan number plate surrounds as the last one got lost in the post. Had an awesome drive with her yesterday at the Basingstoke meet and now im having starting issues, - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?301514-Urgent-Help-needed-starting-issue/page2 Not good hoping it will be ok by tomorrow. But it means the lip is coming off, which is ok as it was due to be removed ready for its date at the garage.
Big Supes
Get a multimeter on your battery J to check its ok. Also, check for any corroded or bad connections around the battery and on the starter motor. Sounds like the starter isn't getting enough juice for some reason. ripped_fear
Yeah had a charger on the battery and its showing its all good. May try swap my batterys of the Passat and see if it fires quickly before I try the pther bits. PITA
Big Supes
Battery swap is a good idea. If no joy, check the terminals on the starter motor for corrosion. Disconnect the battery and take off the terminals on the starter and clean up the connections. Sandpaper works. Pop them back on, connect the battery and cross your fingers. ripped_fear
battery swap did no joy, lips off now going to try a bump and see. The starter is a pig to get to and its on a steep gradient so I catn jack her up. need to drag it out on level ground
Josh
Hope you get this sorted dude. It does sound like what mine does when the battery is dead, but from this and the other thread, it must be something else. Good luck

The only thing I haven't done battery wise is actually use jump leads, but I don't own any or know anyone with a set.
ripped_fear
SHE LIVES!!!!! Thanks to everyone for all the advice, after all the hassel, taking a days holiday, removing the lip, shuffling the car round, swapping battery's in and out, getting soaked through from the rain. It looks to be a dodgey connection on the battery.
