Im considering painting my inlet manifold once mines back on the road, ive some funky new colour schemes im working on and think it would look nice. reckon they would paint nicely, as can't annodise them. being a pourous surface may take a bit of rubbing down, think you should do yours black mate.

Dude you have read my mind ;) Once its out the shop next week the inlet is going to be done, but in two minds on going black or 199 silver to match the car and some other bits that are getting done soon.;) Think either will look good but not sure which would be better.

Need to see some more pictures of your engine mate, last I saw was the funky green splodges making there way onto your clamps.

It was indeed mate. I was going green. But now Im going a completely different colour.

The green was nice, the marble affect was coming on nicely, there's just too many car's with funky green's on these days so Im going custom.

The bay is a mess at the moment, ive got rid of 99% of blue silicone hoses and gone for black. Engine bay is last thing to tidy up at the moment mate, was it running and looking sweet before I tinker with bits.

I think black would look best, as an off shade of silver wouldn;'t look right as you'd struggle to colour match with other components. Black for thewin, will match rest of your intake setup forsure.

Sounds good mate, look forward to updates on yours.

And atm im leaning towards the black too, but as i have access to the bodyshop I can play around ;)

The competition is on..... Can you beat my diffuser fitting time of 14.5 hours!!!???

haha I reckon I can beat that, at least i hope so. Cant wait for its arrival.

Top pic in post 709. Thought you were to have some racing stripes down her at first lol

Looking real good mate.... Looks like another contender for show n shine !

haha no stripes for me, stock all the way.

Thanks for the kind comment, means allot coming from you after the awesome beast you created. Would love to get it in some show and shines, although I still don't think it has the calibre to compete, plus being an NA it will always be judged for that. I don't car though :)

Blending the colour is the only way to go when doing bits on a silver car, going edge to edge looks terrible. looks good mate, nice project! its come along way now aint it

Definitely wouldnt even attempt edge to edge, but only had about 1/3-1/4 of the panel to loose the colour rather than a half so fingers crossed. It was very tight.

Yeah its certainly coming a fair way since I bought it, Thanks for the kind words, looking forward to seeing the update on your build too!

Looking good fella, nice work on the paint work turnaround

Was your front lip fibreglass? Just curious as to how well it held up to speed bumps etc

Thanks dude, yeah its and ebay copy of the RMM earless lip. Bought it from carmadstylings on ebay, it is fibreglass and hasnt been too bad. Light scraping its coped with well, but when i grounded out properly it didnt go well as you can see, a huge crack and since that i have cracked it a few more times. TBH save yourself the hassel and buy a poly one for the extra £70. Im going to replace mine at some point.
