Just got 'round to going back through this. Glad it's all sorted Jake. The Supra is looking as good as ever, good work.

Thanks mate, Great to finally have her back. Will shoot over in the next couple of weeks for a catch up once the car is back to her former glory.

Couple of pictures of some new bits-

New handbrake

and a set of very tatty facelifts which I'm going to have a go a refurbing myself. :)

Been working on the car since this morning and got a few bits done, Refitted the Rad plinth and Slam pannel, but after allot of faffing about I have decided to leave the stainless battery covers off, as after allot of playing around it really isnt that safe. So going to trim it down a bit and fit again at some point.

I also set about taking out the random power cable out that had bee tucked in my bay since I bought the car, looks like an old amp power lead. After tracking it back I found a mountain of wiring all redundant so got all the crap out of there. But had to take apart half the interior in the process lol.

Then gave her a good clean.

I have also sent two sets of rad clamps in to be polished one for my bay, one to be chromed then fitted to my bay, and my current ones will be up for sale soon.

That's all for today.

Nice work on your supra mate :) Spent the last 1 1/2 hours reading this at work to pass the time! Feel like I've been on the journey with you! Hope you plan on doing the same with a TT6? ;)

Hi thank you for your kind comments and glad you chose my build to pass the time. :)

The TT6 will indeed get similar treatment, but until then the work continues on the NA :)

That's the ignitor or coil isn't it? Think it's the coil. I need to re-locate mine :(

Its the coil

Your crazy Jake i thought you were buying a tt6? I know you love this car but its money your never gonna get back

Yep I will be selling up, but its not going to cost me too much as dad is a professional car painter by trade.

I want the car looking its best so it sell easy enough, and goes to someone who cares about it.

Plus who knows how long it will be before I find my perfect TT6 so I want to carry on playing with this one for now.

oh right thats fair enough then, if your getting the painting done cheaply or free then go for it as we all know its not a cheap thing to do usually, yeah hopefuly it will stay in the club with some that looks after it, as you have certainly treated it well

Yeah exactly, I can get all the products at trade price and no labour fee. Got access to a Oven so would be rude not too. :)

I hope she stays in the club too, would be nice to see it at meets in the future and see what someone else does with it.
