Got the new gloss black dizzy on today, also started on the number plate surround, Just needs a bit of sanding to get it perfect then its off for paint.

Also ordered a new set of front brake pads and a vac hose which I noticed today has a small split in it.

Then spent the afternoon cleaning the engine bay up, and its all shinny again now. No pics Im afraid seem to have lost my camera.

Cheers bud I should I have had it polished up, but haven't the time now, need it fitted ASAP. Im again considering the NA-T option and if I do I will do all the pulleys :)

Thats what I like to hear mate:) I think your car deserves a turbo:eyebrows:

Vac hose, Clutch res cap, and the Painted air box clips all fitted now.

Also turned all the clips so the bolts where not on show so it look cleaner, Unfortunately the polished res shield may prove a problem as my car doesn't seem to have the bolt holes so going to have to retro fit it.

Pull out a pin that joins the master rod to the clutch pedal, a simple r-clip holds it together. Then two nuts hold the master to the baulkhead, under the dash. The all you have to do is disconnect the clutch fluid line and re/bleed it after. 30 mins work :)

Cheers for the input mate  might just do that then.

Worked non stop yesterday on the car,

First off tried to fit the spacers and they turned out to be no good as the stock studs pertrude out the front of the spacer therefore stopping me from fitting the wheel.

Next the new wrap for the exahaust surround was awful stuff to wrap anything that wasnt flat so that was no good either.

So to keep my spirits up I bonded the clutch res heatsheild on and left it over night to set today its rock solid and looks great. No pics as its raining now and dont want to go outside :innocent:

Next I gave the car a full clean, apart from under the hood.

Washed it using loads of liquid wax and rinsed down, then dried her off and left it to stand so it was bone dry. Then pannel wiped the whole car down removing all the old rubbish, tar, salt and wax off it. And proceeded to do 3 stages of wax. I compounded the rear bumper and waxed it up, then touched up a couple of stone chips.

Gave it a final wipe down and then did the interior and glass. The final result was as followed. Please ignore the tape on the steering wheel, its there to remind me in the morning to remove the tape holding the heat sheild in place.
