Good job! Forgive me if this has already been covered but did you use any kind of special paint for the intake like high temp or is it just regular paint?

It has been painted in normal paint out the gun, same as they would use on the car its self. iirc its water based that been used.

That exhaust heat cover must go.... I'd get a race manifold.... That's what I did and it improved the looks and went miles better!

I would mate, wanted the wifbitz one which never seemed to appear, the problem I have with the manifolds are everyone I have heard sound so raspy and I hate that sound.

Mate, I honestly hate you! Every time I go out and clean up the car and the engine bay see this thread and I get depressed at how crap mine looks. Hope it all went well mate and obviously the Supra is looking better and better. Well done and love this thread, keep it going

Right the arches are done he has done a great job, I didn't get them rolled completely flat as I didn't want cracking and paint flaking. It has a couple of minor crazes on the inner part of the arch but very impressed. Will paint the inside at some point and she will be getting her re-spray next year anyway.

Had a play with the suspension and have gone for around 10 clicks from firm and have soften the front slightly again. Just took it round the block on a particularly bumpy bit of road and one junction on the motor way and she rides great now. Almost OEM but just feels tighter. Cant wait to take it out for a proper drive on my favourite bit of road now.

Now the majority of shows and meets that I planned to attend are out the way, the wheels will be started this week at some point. Think I have decided to go for polished lip with silver inserts, (undecided on flat silver or gloss) this may change. Along with this I will be re painting the brakes, with the new decals, new nuts all round and some nice dust caps. Going to continue the red colour, so all the little bits will be the anodised red colour.
