ripped_fear
Great stuff man, it's really getting there now Thanks bud, i feel after a slow year things are starting to pick up again. First job to get the stance right, then the us look to complete. Then the interior and audio.

Big Supes
Oww, is that an aftermarket jobby or the OE lip?
ripped_fear
Same as my fibreglass one. RMM style. But this one is made of oem style material meaning now its going lower it can scrape all it likes
Big Supes
Ahh, yes. I know the one. A wise choice since you're lowering the ride height.

Big Supes
Also got my stud removal tool so hopefully i can finally fit the decat. What studs are you removing mate?
ripped_fear
The Manifold to centre cat studs, they are coroded badly and i want to put new fresh ones in then i can de cat it.
Big Supes
Is this for more noise? Not to put you off, but you might regret tampering with the first cat. It's a royal pain in the arse to get access to 'when' things go badly, e.g seized nuts/studs/thread transfer. I would go for the second cat, dude. If you're going to tackle it, feel free to give us a shout if you want a couple of pointers. Have done a few and a couple of tips can go a long way to saving time. ripped_fear
no bud this is for the second cat, im not running no cats would be too loud for me... i think. Thanks for the offer of a hand though.
Big Supes
Ah, in that case you won't have to touch the manifold mate. Just unbolt it from the first cat.
ripped_fear
Yeah sorry i dont know why i said manifold. lol
Big Supes
IIRC, you won't need the stud extractor as well as the second cat is bolted to the first. Might be an idea to order up your new bolt(s) assembly before hand.
ripped_fear
The stud extractor is for removing rusty or rounded bolts, studs bolts etc. I and replacing them for new ones as they are showing their age.
skippyboyo1
You could take the cats out and keep the noise down buy going custom. I don't bother with bolt on exhausts... And never have. You can remove both cats, if your doing this I'd also get an Uprated manifold in to 2.5 inch, in to a middle box in to a back box and out. When going custom you can choose how loud you want it. ripped_fear
Yeah its an option im going to stick with just the on decat as my back system is custom already and I personally love the sound just want a tiny bit more volume and a bit of banging

ripped_fear
Got her back, drive great. However they chickened out on rolling the archs as they started and i quote 'started making some creaks' due to them being doubled skinned. I can always book at arch enemy if its needed but its only scraping on big bumps. Any way before and after pics- Before front Before rear After front After rear Overall shots Edited January 21, 2014 by ripped_fear (see edit history)
