Exactly that, Glad your doing something different Jake. Ive found lately everyone is doing the same!.

Im looking forward to what you have planned mate and if in involves real carbon thats even better!!!

Just a note, Ive had exactly the same amp as that and my sound quality was way way off what i though it should be, after days and days of fine tuning i just binned the amp and got a different one and it made a massive difference (im embarrassed to say ive not seen my car for that long i forgot what amp i now have!!!)

Thanks mate, indeed some carbon will be making an appearance however I have a fair amount on the car in small does and do not want to go ott.

as for the amp that's really disappointing I bought it off a member as I was told not to go for multiple ones I was looking at, as I have it I shall give it a go and go from there if a new one is needed then needs must.

Jake clear your frikking inbox!! thank u :)

Cheers  wondered why I want getting pm from members I was trying to contact.

Getting excited now, almost all parts needed our order or have been accumulated.

BC coil overs ordered, and cars going in to have the rear arches rolled and shocks fitted along with the spacers. Then the plan is to fit the UK rear bumper, us plate and titan plate surround. Then I will start work on the trd spoiler. Oh and the LED conversion is being done in two days on the ac unit. :)

Exciting day today, almost finished the LED conversion, had a mate do the ac unit, just needs a couple of tweeks,

Spacers arrived, COILOVERS arrived! :)

And bluewater tonight. Just gave the car a wash and put the RIP Paul Walker sticker on.

Also got two OEM rad pipe clamps painted up ready too. Got too many parts not enough time!

Also odered another T5 as the ones I bought where no good.

Jus spent a bit of time on the car, have now fitted the 20mm spacers on the rear, and moved my shims from the back to the front, looks much better imo cant wait to see it dropped a bit now.

Also theres a pic of the TRD wing. think it will look good once on.

Looking good. The 20mm makes such a difference. Maybe need to look at moving mine out more.

Cheers mate I would advise doing it makes a huge difference.

Is that your zxr1100? I didn't no you had a bike! Classic that

Afraid the bike to the left isn't mine, but the Passat to the right is :p not quite the same haha

  • 3 weeks later...

TRD spoiler is now off having the work done to it to make it useable, I chickened out on this project as I have far too much to do. Been thinking on the sub box and may change my plan, was originally going to a similar thing the lockey sub box but may try something along this line now, if I can.

However I would be keeping the rear seats. May try find a set of old rear seats to work off of.

Makes alot of difference with those spacers.

I have a set of hub centric ones but I found there wasnt enough thread left on the bolt to catch the wheel nut. Did you come across this issue? I believe mine are 20mm ones.
