Drivers side window not working..

Looking for some advice please, the only thing wrong on the supra i brought is the drivers side window doesn't move. Passenger window is fine..

Any tips on where to start, fuse maybe but i assume the passenger side one would be on the same fuse? then door card off etc?

I did notice last night when it was dark if i moved the switch the lights dimmed ever so slightly which would indicate to me the motor is still drawing current but not getting anywhere.

Any tips would be great! Cheers

Sounds like it could be either the motor or more than likely the regulator itself, it's quite a common problem on them now. Cost is about £65 + vat approx. That's if it is that of course.

Thanks for the info! I hope its the cheaper option :-)

I had a similar prob with the window so just bought a new regulator from a local Toyota dealership £63 inc VAT and had it ordered and delivered in 2 days.

Did it fix the problem, and was it hard to fit/replace? Thanks
