Scooter
does your rev counter ever 'die' or do violent movements not in keeping with the actual engine revs?
crispy
hey scooter no revs dont die, rev counter goes up and down wid engine fine as far as im aware ! tbh i dont know a thing about engines but im guessing its either one of the lamber sensors or the 02 sensor ! saying that i did the check from the forum by putting a paper clip between E1 - TE1 came back as no faults found !!! Scooter
a simple thing to check for is loose battery terminals.......just grab the plastic cable and try and rotate them about the +ve and -ve terminals (one at a time and be careful not to bridge the two terminals).....does the battery have a central metal brace holding it firmly in place? crispy
iv tried that as i disconnected it yesterday to re set the ecu before checking it earlia, and yes it has the metal battery brace.
