Septic
I couldn't stand Guild Wars. When I got into WoW after GW, GW seemed like such an inferior product. Its all a matter of taste I guess but WoW and its diverse factions, amazing cities, seamless worlds and great pvp definitely make it the most superior mmorpg in my opinion. Septic
Septic, I knew dan was into this but not you too!, what's become of you lol In my defence I don't play it as much as him! I actually have hardly played the game compared to 90% of WoW players. Its a good game!

I know what you mean, but I didn't want to get way into gaming and I thought Guild Wars was a much more subtle walk into MMO. I also much preferred the artwork in Guild Wars. Guild Wars 2 will blow every MMO out of the water. It has a whole new approach. I reckon WoW will have to come up with something new to overcome what's in store for the battle for the best MMO. Schtuv
12 million subscribers can't be wrong :-) lvl 85 Demonology spec Warlock, by the way ... I occasionally take breaks for months at a time, but keep going back. It's a little addictive.

JS2004
Original EQ was my drug for a long time - Nothing seems to even come close to the high end raiding of that challenge wise, or teamwork wise. was 64 man raids at one point and we didnt "cheat" and use vent or TS
The-Plethora
Heh heh a guy at work lives for counter strike and gets ratty when I say he is cheating when he uses vent so you can speak when you are dead and warn team mates.
JS2004
Try Heroes of Newerth - a bit too addictive because of the endless combinations of opponents and team makeups / tactics. Bit of a hard learning curve and you will get griefed for being a noob but its fun once you get into it.
