j_jza80
Quite a funny video, showing a glimpse of the mentality of certain WOW players: LkCNJRfSZBU Just get a copy of Warcraft 2, readily available for under a tenner, and no stupid monthly subscription. jonathanc
Well after building my new pc and finally actually being able to play games at high settings I decided to get world of warcraft. Anyone on here play it?any tips etc?only just made my person and doing the little quest at the start Well I've started playing again recently Stopped for 3 years now ... It's really more casual friendly now. Try out the new races (I tried goblin) The quests are ace!!! I would advice to go slow if it's your first time. No need to rush through the content. Join a levelling guild if you can edit: I'm on Azuremyst (alt) and Turalyon (main). The RealID thingy is really good. You can chat to friends even if you are on different realms. aman00123
I used to play this and got addicted, is quite a mad game and requires some in depth knowledge to get far, but takes ages to get to the higher levels so you'll need patience too
tooley
i had to stop playing it once the mrs said she didnt want to raid anymore it was pointless playing if i couldnt raid havent played for a year now but i was one of the best geared locks on darkspear i was debating selling my character rather than leave it gathering dust like me eve online account also
marc_p
I used to play it, got a lvl 80 DK and a 65 Hunter, haven't played it in over a year now, when I get a new PC I may get Cataclysm and start up again. Beware, it can get addictive.

garetheves
Dont play WoW, bit too "cartoony" and childish. i do however play Lord of The Rings Online, which is a fantstic game. Its an MMORPG just like WoW but much better imo. Gorgeous graphics and great game play, well and truely additcted
The-Plethora
EverQuest 2 is my drug of choice, I have quit a few times but always come back when the weather is crap in the winter months. Don't start Foggy, you don't want to be avoiding the pub to stay in and raid to get your +4 staff of smiting or something!
RobSheffield
+4 staff of smiting FTW
Attero
For casual play, try Guild Wars instead. +1 I have all the Guild Wars games. Unfortunately, the social community within the game lacks bigtime now. Guild Wars 2 is going to destroy MMO gaming (in a good way).
The-Plethora
One thing I am beginning to hate about these games now is that pretty much all of them seem to be going down the item shop route to make money, it's pretty crappy. Then again even something like Team Fortress 2 seems to have an item shop!
Attero
It's understandable with Guild Wars though, I mean they only get revenue for each game they sell, not every month! If a game had no monthly subscription (like Guild Wars), it's understandable that they would have some form of shop system so that they can grab a bit of extra dosh for the maintenance. It's a donation.
