Kopite
how can you tell the differance between these 2? i thought the RMM one always looked a bit taller than the RMM. i was lookin at this pic of ryan woon's old RSP car and on intensepower.com it says he has the RMM one on it http://img236.echo.cx/img236/8089/ntnsracing18492650514157ex.th.jpg any ideas? MichaelG
Not a clue mate, i always thought the RMM one was just a TRD one slightly modified in height a bit too.

Willson
TRD and RMM are the same dimensions. I believe RMM offered the wing with the carbon insert.
Kopite
you can get the TRD one with the carbon fibre insert too though mate. lookin at the back of a RMM, im sure the side supports curve out more?
Willson
you can get the TRD one with the carbon fibre insert too Are you sure ? From TRD ? http://trdparts.jp/english/list_jza80.html
Kopite
ah sorry, not the official one mate. just from places that offer fibreglass copies of it etc e.g. miami-gt. only thing is the TRD copy with carbon fibre insert is more expensive than the RMM one

Kopite
aye yeah you are mate so are RMM ones and TRD copies with firbreglass EXACTLY the same? anyone know what wing is on Ryan Woon's car there? it says RMM on horsepowerfreaks but the blade looks RSP on that pic (unless it's been painted?). might see if he's about on supraforums and send him a random PM

Guest supraiggy
These wings are both identical. RMM copied TRD and was the first to come out with the cf center insert. I didnt think TRD offered their wing with the cf crossmember, I'm pretty sure they dont. That is the main difference between the RMM wing and the TRD and consequently why it's the most purchased/seen wing in the US.
Chase
Wathced an episode of 'Rides' on Discovery that was about RMM modifying an IS300 by dropping a GS430 motor in it. Good stuff.
