fizzle
how feasable is it do design your own front bumper and get it made? or would it be easier to take a bumper from another car and have it adjusted to fit the supra?

Kilps
Have you seen blueangel's Supra? I guess he knows how hard it is
Scott
Have you seen blueangel's Supra? I guess he knows how hard it is Reshaping wings, a bumper and a bonnet is FAR easier than making your own front bumper from scratch. Hardly a fair comparison. Dnk
Surely to do this properly from scratch would be very involved, you'd first design what you want then make a mould, this would be the hardest part i'd have thought, laying up the fibreglass bumper itself is the easy part. Modifying an exsisting bumper that already fits a mkiv would be a better and easier way to go.

To create a replica is FAR easier than to actually design your own bumper. You would need to run it through R&D just to make sure it didn't lift the front of the car off the deck lol. There are HUGE pitfalls to making your own bumper. It's the reason we spend so much money on genuine brands.

Scott
aahhh so basically if i can source the bumper in question, it should be possible to make it fit if its similar size ? Everything is possible You can take any bumper you like to fit to your car. The choice you make will determin how much work it will take to fit. People have fitted Ferrari bumpers and Shelby bumpers as an example. Any bumper can be made to fit
