David P
Just be sure that you can live with LED torches shining into your eyes whilst night driving, before even considering a pillar pod.

My defi gauges (White) that are black when turned off are not bright at all. Just right.
jackso11
I have one, not fitted it yet but the quality is great. Link the dials in to the same power as the rest of the dash so you can dim them, should be fine.

Guest wantthatone
just thought i would update this, the gauges i am using are 52mm, i was unsure where to fit the 3rd, after looking at the dash air vents, i made my mind up, this is where it has to go! i had read this is a common place for the 60mm, so debating it i decided to take the vent out easy enough, but there was a lot of play with the 52mm gauge & the vent, anyway took the vent to pieces, what a great bit of design & engineering! the vent now just a void, opened the gauges it came with a visor of some sort. fitted this onto the gauge, now this was the correct diameter! put this into the empty vent housing & perfect!!!!
