marc_p
No, but they ought to venture to Europe once in a while. Maybe if some of them came over to England they wouldn't think we all talked like the Queen. It's true that their country is vast but it's pretty much all the same, there are just different places to go shooting/get shot in If we required no passport to go around the EU then I bet it would be an even smaller percentage of Brits that actually own a passport, nearly everyone I know has never been out of Europe. DodgyRog
Having been to Florida many times and chatted to lots of Americans, I can say, nearly all have no idea of anything outside of America. The fact that Bush had never steped outside the borders of the U.S socially before he became President says it all When you speak to most Americans they think that England(UK to them) is London, there is nothing else in the "UK" at all, they even think we all know each other Don't get me wrong some Brits are as bad, but they spend a long time in education over there, but seem to have no idea of what goes on on the rest of the planet If you think about it, it's a very good ploy by there Government, reducing knowledge of there being anywhere outside the U.S means Joe public does not take his dollars to another country to spend, also wages are very low, so foriegn holidays are reserved for the wealthy and roadtrips for the working classes, although with their fuel prices going up even that will be masssively reduced

DodgyRog
Really? I must hang around with a different bunch of americans... Yeah really, wether it's just because most of the people we meet are in the parks or the local Bars, so are U.S based travellers and Orlando workers Don't get me wrong, I am not slating them for it, generally I have found the people we have met to be very friendly and accomadating and love our trips to Florida, to the extent that we dont really go anywhere else on holiday now and thats mainly to do with the American people and hospitality
CJ
Really? I must hang around with a different bunch of americans... Yep, me too. I lived there for a while and never found things to be that bad.

CJ
ai men to that! I think you meant "amen" but that was a very good effort. Now, what was it that was being said about evolution?

Marco
They are proof that evolution can go in reverse. Watch the movie 'Idiocracy', it's exactly about that. Two people end up 500 years into the future in America, and everyone is really dumb. Very funny!
