supra steveo
aye park on a hill with the nose pointing up the hill , just a slight incline BTW , drain the radiator then there is a bolt on the side of the block crack that off and drain that too , and if i am right you 8 ltrs of coolant to top the system back up , the parking on the hill bit is to make sure you get all the air out the system when topping up , and you can do that with the engine running , give the pipes that go through the fire wall a good couple of squeezes and you will see the level in the rad go up and down and if there is any air in the system that should get them out did i miss anything oh yeah if you want to flush it out get the hose pipe out
Dnk
You really dont need to be on a hill and are you just pouring toxic fluid into the street ? im sure thats possibly against the law these days If your using Toyota's coolant its Cool Red and not the Pink one they do, some Toyota dealers dont have a clue and the Pink stuff is a fair bit more money, its under £20 for 5 litres of Cool Red Edited February 2, 2011 by Dnk (see edit history)
