The cage is almost done now, we decided to mig weld the cage instead of tig welding it because it was to much of a hassle to get a tig in the end. My mate has done a mega job with it. Just got to finish the roof brace and then it can be pulled up and welded to the feet boxes. :) Next on the list is to paint the car can't wait :)

Thats a great turbo, I was one of the first to get the new air cooled DBB cartridge, for a 76mm turbo it spools very fast, I made 894bhp on SRR with that, it was strapped very hard, it was a true 1000bhp all day.

Ya i have heard it spools fast for its size. What head work did you have at the time?

It was on a phr stage 1 head at the time, full supertech setup but no flow work.

OK thanks. I was looking at getting the Ferrea Valve train kit for my head what you think? And the spare engine i have that is ready to drop in has just got HKS 264 cams and some flow work.

But i think will need higher lifting cams like SRD 280 and over size valves etc... to get the best out of this tubby?
