Nic
Cusco have just started to sell a brand new set of front and rear anti-roll (sway) bars for the MKIV Supra. I'm getting prices at the moment as I want to fit a set to my own car. If there is enough interest I will negotiate a bulk order discount with my supplier and organise a group buy for members. The descripion below is from the Cusco website: Front(32mm Hollow bar) The kit includes 2 bushings, and need apprx.1 hour for installation. Stiffness: 153% against Factory 30mm hollow bar. Rear(22mm Solid bar) The kit includes 2 bushings, and need apprx.1 hour for installation. Stiffness: 2way Adjustable, 240%/297% against Factory 19.2mm hollow bar. Alex
Hmmmm, not wishing to p1ss on their fire...but if the TRD ones are 27% stiffer and these are 53-197% stiffer (which is how I read your figures (100% being stock)). Arn't they a little extreme? For serious applications only? Personally I'd love to try some TRD's but even the 27% stiffer makes me think that road driving will be, unsettling. Are you able to find out what application Cusco are recommending them for, Nic? *********** FWIW guys, stiffer ARB's make the suspension less independent left to right...it makes for flatter cornering and more confidence in turns but also makes single wheel movements via pot holes etc harsher. Nic
I've just received prices for these and they are very good. Doesn't seem to be any interest in a group buy, but if you want a price email or PM me.
