drift_bear
Not for me, don't want someone turning their nose up at my n/a. Dont worry about it liam, your NA is a beaut anyway! it be wated at somwhere like this cause you dotn have go faster "monster" stickers or sharkfins LOL its not a stuck up nose day if you think thats the case then yes please do not attend. N/A supra are welcome if you have made it perform better than a stock N/A one and keep it in good condition. it sounds like it is a stuck up nose day tbh! thats the way you have came across. I doubt there will be alot of the scottish lot going tbh when you ahve an attitude like that and in your OP aswell. are you new to the surpa scene or something? there is not alot you can do to an NA apart from upgrade the suspension, brakes and etc, nothing in the engine gets touched, cause theres not alot you can do without spending big money doing it! Its an observation / joke mate - and if youd seen my porn collection youd know it was a compliment...

supratoy
If people where more open minded and not being so sensitive you could have mailed me asking, is this what you would be interested in as I'm interested in coming along, not to difficult. It's not like am going to take the piss and shout in your face no your car sucks. N/A supra with the mentioned suspension, brakes modification etc would be great , I don't recall saying if you got no power your not coming. I mentioned chassis modification are important not just fast+furious mods. If you think because I never worded it nice enough, fine don't come as it's upset you. It was not intended to. No other forum has taken it to heart, most thought it was funny but again apologise if your upset by it. Anyways to much bad vibes going into all this so I'll just let use decide on whatever you like and feel. If you actually want to take part and use your car on a hopefully succsessful track day for like minded enthusiast in apr or June please get in touch by email or pm. Thanks I think

Guest HYPER200
This thread easily has some of the shitest patter I've ever read on the internet - Which is a shame, as i clicked the link hoping to see a few strong power Supras signing up for some track work. If anyone is actually considering this but is unsure, it's worth it. It's rare to find, which perhaps exception to TrackScotland and of course other private nights - A trackday/night where you can be sure of a like minded attitude throughout the people who are attending. Yes, Viney might have made it a requirement that your car isn't a shed, but mechanically sound and somewhat impressive at the same time - Whether or not you find a 320bhp Civic impressive, is of course dependent on the person, but enthusiast for enthusiasts sake should be able to appreciate a well modified car for what it is.. As for the SARD carbon blades on the EP3 and the 3M taped front/rear lips of the Jordan, get a grip. It would've been a fairly humorous comment if it wasn't written by someone who knowingly installed Angel Eye headlights - The remark about the 'old' Civic which is infact younger than your 'old' supra was also fantastic btw. If you feel you would be interested in the track day but don't want to go on track itself you could sit in the pit and entertain everyone with the four tonnes of ICE you have in the back of your car? All of the cars featured in the video posted have had money spent on them wisely, using good parts - None of them are fast without the appropriate supporting mods etc. Couple of pictures from last years event -

Simple Well this someones track event (which they were decent enought to invite others to) which they are allowed to voice their opinions on. So if they have the choice of what cars go on and what don't based on their opinion nevermind what drivers go on. so based on your statement vinney is entitled to voice his own opinion.. which he did and got nothing but sly unintelligent repsonces to. But what does it have to do with you? Based on your first post ever, it is clear you're here to start an argument. Your username says enough about you for a start. Surely if you're talking about having a certain level of modification that is required then more detail is needed than just one line saying well if it's not up to scratch then you can't run, what one person thinks is fine might not be to another. There are plenty of ways to say something and this time it was worded wrong. If you are going to come on this forum, don't come on with a first post like that, it's hardly helping the situation is it. I have an interest in cars weither it be ones with "shark fins" or any kind of mods or not, therefor it does have something to do with me. And once again quoting your post I am also entitled to my own opinion and it was that the people who decided to be immature towards the invitation were acting like little girls. And your tagline says something about you but hey I am not one to judge. Also if someones car is not upto scratch then how would you expect it to take part in a track event. No point in being unrealistic. Better that it was said now instead of people turning up on the day and being turned away so I appreciate the honesty rather than taking it as arrogant. "posting is my life" LOL how sad you really are. Shall i explain? its a forum default after so many post it changes to different things, i hope you understood that I don't care if you have an interest in cars, my point is don't come on here talking rubbish with your first post. Surely that isn't too hard to understand is it? I could say it slower if it would help? If you do have such an interest in cars, on the track day you can help judge what cars can run and what can't, there you go you have job. Someone feeling insecure today? oh sorry was that to long a word for you want me to repeat it or give you the definition? "Condescension is a show of disdain and superiority in which the condescending person patronizes, or considers himself superior and "descends" to the level of, the disdained person" in other words your a self involved forum junkie who has some cheek moaning about other looking down on people. No i think i will be spending the track day enjoying the company of fellow car enthusiasts and checking out some decent cars, so doubt you'll be there anyways. Your presence will be dearly missed. Guest Garage12
vinney means well, nothing arrogant about what he is saying unless you want to take it that way. monster unit have always been a close knit group of mates who all have very similar interests and taste in cars, its only been recently its got bigger and vinney has been inviting people to come along for the track days. but the track days get alot of media attention and the general standard of cars in attendance are always high, so we wouldnt want to spoil tradition and have some shanner on the track. but thats not saying this forum is full of shanners. it would be a bit like inviting some ned to come along in his cavalier to a top marques night. supras are more often than not kept well and get looked after hence why vinney had put the post up on here in the first place. Guest HYPER200
Lets be honest. Monster Attack isnt getting the best rep with you all joining up to cause trouble and start infantile slanging matches is it? To be fair Rob, the slagging started 3 pages before anyone else associated with MonsterUnit even signed up. It's to be expected when you remember that the cars which are being commented on in a fairly straight forward manner are at the end of the day, someones pride and joy. I realise that you post your car up on a forum expecting both positive and negative opinions, and if you can't handle that then you shouldn't post your car up at all - But this post wasn't about the cars of MonsterUnit, merely an invitation to a day that promises to be a good laugh for everyone involved.. It's a shame you live so far south as your car is pretty much exactly what i'd imagine Viney has in mind when posting up on owners clubs of this sort.
