garethr
You can do a wire transfer at the Post Office or your bank. It's like paying by cash, though, so you don't have any of the protection a credit card gives.
RobUK
It's known in the UK as BACS, basically a direct transfer of funds from one account to another, usually takes 2-3 days for international payments. Only do this if you trust the company to deliver the goods.
hogmaw
I think a wire transfer , is not safe . WTF? Millions of them happen every day. I have done one a week to the US for 20 years, no problems. Of course it's safe, unless you have sausage fingers and type in the wrong account number. Use the AMEX website. Cost is £10 not £25 like most banks.
