Most likely a stupid question but is there anyway of testing the active spoiler motor once of the car?? only asking as mine is now off as fitted a FMIC but i used to get a warning light come on, so not sure if it was the motor that packed up, a fuse or sensor etc. (should of looked into this before i removed it  )

You can still plug just the motor back into the wiring loom without it or the rest of the spoiler fitted to the car. If your wiring/fuse/sensor etc had a problem and wasn't working before you might have to ask some one locally to you to plug it into their car to try it.

As its just a motor you may be able to look up via the wiring diagrams which wires would need power and earth, and just try it with a 12v battery.
