drift_bear
ive got this installed in my TT auto, it works at times and keeps the engine running and then other times it just cuts the engine completely but still counts down and all the lights on the dash are still on (warning light, oil light and tc) when its counting down and between each beep it shows Sid, ive done a search and come up with nothing and the ive checed the manual online and still come up with nothing. has anyone got this turbo timer and had this problem? it was on the car when it came into the country in 2007 and the previous owner has never had it switched on. im not wanting to get rid of the timer cause i quite like it so any help at all would be great. Scott
I wouldn't worry about it. If you want to keep it for the look etc then fine, otherwise I would bin it. They are useless, and illegal on public roads.

Scott
lol ok ill just switch it off. are they a pain to remove? might just take it out and sell it I've never fitted one personally, but as far as I know it is only a few wires behind the dash. If you are happy removing the dash panels etc you could at least take a look and see if you fancy it. I think most of the wires are spliced into the loom and maybe 1 is cut? I can't be sure though. If you ask in technical, you will get an answer in no time
