Jurgen-Jm-Imports
it will just need a run out, maybe some fresh oil and some new fuel and new plugs.. we have sometimes this issue when they land from japan, as they been sitting for ages (they do need a run out). AndyT
Get the fuel out Peter. Should've seen the state of the stuff in my bike when I left it sorn for a while. Fuel pump needed sorting out too. Not expensive though. Sounds like business is better Peter. Hope it is anyways. All the best mate.

Homer
Just stick some new fuel in it Peter and give it a good run. If it's not been used for a long while it might be worth swapping the plugs and putting some new oil in (which will cost lest than a tank of fuel these days!). My current one was the same after being stood for nearly two years, just needed some fresh fuel and a little drive and it was right as rain. No car likes being stood! nevins
You would not believe how bad old fuel is for a car mate. A good flush through with some fresh petrol and you will see an improvement. When was the last time the plugs were changed before it was parked up.
peter richards
not been changed in my ownership , i think one or two were pulled just to check during a service and were ok
Homer
Copper plugs are only £14 a set so if you've not changed them since you bought the car this might be a good time to do it Coppers should be changed every 4-6k miles (assuming BPU) Platinum and Iridium around 25-30k miles, but personally I found at BPU it was more like 9k miles. peter richards
thats it D they are platinum and although ive had the car ages miles wise done nothing , so would be suprised if they needed changing , car was serviced twice a year when i was using it
