kubus1
Has anyone ever done that?? I found it on the Mkiv.com website. Whats are the downsides of that? Cheers, Cuba
Keith C
Boost drop off at top end of rev range, boost spikes, boost achieved depends on air temp - ie what gives 1.2bar in the summer can give 1.4bar in winter.

Keith C
It's a very cheap way of getting more power, and safe enough when used properly - it's just there are downsides. A proper boost controller is much better, but if you do go for a bleeder, a boost guage is *essential* IMO.

Cheers, Cuba You will probably find that most people round here started their mods with a bleeder "T" before spending big £££. Then they realised how much of a power difference it made and that got them hooked !!! I agree with keith get a boost gauge as well though to make sure you arent going over the top. The only way to control the boost is using narrower "T"s. cheers Neil.
