ulysees
I still havnt fitted my active spoiler yet and really want to but as i dont have any of the wiring in the dash and i want to wire it up to work manualy anyway, could i fit it and then wire it up at a later date or do i need the bumper off to wire it up? ie: do i wire it up in the ash or at the front end? Havard
bump. I would like to fit it this morning but only if it can be wired up without taking it all off again? AndrewOW will probably be your best bet for info on this. I could do with finding out where the fuse is for the AS. H.

ulysees
bump. I fitted the spoiler on sunday, its in the down position and not wired in yet, i dont have any plugs for it on my car not in the dash or at the front end. keron hase got a plug for the switch so now i have wires to splice into. To do the wiring diagram above do i just need to buy two relays and then its a matter of wiring it all in?????
David P
You will need more than just a switch to get it to work. You can use a 'Garfy' manual controller, or retrofit a dash loom and spoiler ECU and switch from a T.T. If you change the loom, you will need to modify 3 wires for the front wipers that go to the wrong side.

I have the actual switch for the spoiler and ecu but no loom, im not prepared to change the loom but a freind seem to think he can wire straight from the spoiler to the switch and make it work so ill see what he can do and let you know the outcome. if he cant, to do the garfy control do i just buy two relays and follow te diagram above? Pixelfill
If the TRL diagram works then yes you just need 2 relays and a switch to recreate the circuit. AFAIK this is different to the Garfy mod. which I believe replicates the Blitz Active Spoiler control functionality. Mike
ulysees
can i use the actual spoiler switch with the TRL diagram or do i need an after market shitty one?

ulysees
bump. i spoke to a good elecrician today and he said he can wire it up no problem to this but he said i cant have the original switch, i have to have a shitty after market one which is a shame, does anyone know a way around this?
