Septic
For the past month we've been hearing noises in our loft. We suspected birds or rats, we weren't sure but the voices were quite loud. We called the local council pest control to sort it out. A few weeks later and we were still hearing noises and now the water cooler thingy is leaking badly into the bathroom. The noises ceased the past few days and now there is a lot of water leaking down. The council pest control people came by yesterday and said they couldn't find anything. Well I decided to investigate the leak as it is getting quite bad. The first thing I notice is how bad a smell was coming from the lost and as I use my phone flash light to see what is causing the leak I instantly notice: How the council people didn't notice that I have no idea. It's obviously very damp and that rat decomposing there can't be a good thing. I don't want to touch that thing though! It's huge and disgusting! Council aren't available on weekends. Money well spent.... What should I do? Free Orios for anyone willing to come get that thing out of my house! There might be more too! Septic
Here is a video of my brother and I being complete wimps trying to remove what we thought was a rat but turns out was a squirrel. http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s250/septic360/?action=view¤t=VIDEO0057.mp4 Yes we were screaming like little girls but in my defence it smelt SO BAD!!! Then maggots came out of this mouth!!! Man I'm never doing this again!!
jazz1
We built a gym in our garage, it's a fairly new garage, every time I train I hear noises in the garage, I just blast the music so high to annoy them. I know there's rats up in the loft, but it's hard to eliminate the problem, due to the rat population.
Septic
I sound well different in that video. I think it was because I was covering my mouth/nose 'cause it smelt HORRIBLE
BazzaAlpine
Guy died next door once. Was just after christmass and we started getting a weird smell in the house. I swear to god we were looking all over for a brussel sprout. Then the police turned up after getting a concerned for welfare report, bust into next door and the body was litrally leaning up against the wall that backed on to our house. Once they got all the windows open it smelt worse than sewers I hope you are going to send those pics to the council with a complaint. Abz
I know how you feel, we had (still have we believe) squirrels in our loft. We had the local pest control people run and one of the squirrels died in the loft, luckily we couldn't smell anything but we then had loads of flies turn up in the rooms & hall way! These flies were black & pretty big & were lazy as well (in the sense not scared when you attempt to kill them). Called the pest control again & they found the died squirrel & fumigated the loft. It is horrid! I hope you managed to get the squirrel out as if you leave it there it will get much worse! Also we are lucky we have 2 cats, though only Simba likes to kill the squirrels & them leave the tail in the garden to make sure I know he has killed one! - Problem is the back of our house faces a farm so we have a lot of squirrels, tempted to get an air rifle to kill them with! Let us know how you get on Gaz!

Yeah, was laughing my head off! Wife was cracking up too until she saw the squirrel, then screamed & ran off His currently on loan to my neighbour for £200 a day, his booked out until April. Honestly he is brilliant at catching them, also caught field mice which managed to make it into the house. Watching him hunt is absolutely awesome! He is so focused & goes straight in for the kill! The Raven
That was EPIC! Me and Mrs had a great laugh at you two, the bit where it just flaps around while you try to pick it up is great. Bravo.

dangerous brain
Dude stick some rubber gloves on and man up a bit lol. Stick it in a bucket and sling it in the bin. Job done. You need to stop them getting in there though as they are known for chewing through cables and all sorts of stuff.
