eBay cast iron manifold

Just wondering what peoples opinions are of this manifold in terms of reliability/quality

From what I read, the cheap 'Log' manifolds are much better put together than the cheap tubular types. Probably still in need of a good clean, and much better suited to small, fast spooling setups.

Are you looking at putting a kit together yourself? What turbo would you be using and what are your power goals?

 

Contact Wez he knows a thing or 2 about cast manifolds and how some of the different ones on the market compare.

 

The PHR Street Kit uses a cast manifold, if you're piecing a kit together it may be worth contacting them to see if they can supply their manifold separately.

If going cast the one to get is an Arnout unit, they are rare but have larger internal area along with larger wastegate port

 

My setup is an Induction Motorsport kit with a PHR 60-1 street turbo, Induction Motorsport modified the wastegate port to make it larger.

 

EDIT: just to add, the SPA unit looks OK but have never seen one in the flesh.
