Terminator
It may have some Jun parts, Cosworth make some parts for Jun, The "vin plate" looks very amateur. Most likely a bit of wishful thinking in an attempt to find a Muppet to buy it. Anyone remember the Aston Martin Supra
JamieP
It was built by Cosworth and has many Cosworth parts. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?237341-2011-SATS-Cosworth-Supra

Terminator
If they did build it I hope they had nothing to do with the fitting of the turbo.
nevins
So he has changed the paint scheme of it again. Look forward to this years drift season
j_jza80
If they did build it I hope they had nothing to do with the fitting of the turbo. Do you mean the purple 'trumpet', or the water line sat straight infront of it? It's great to see the publicity Supras are getting these days, the car looks very professional

Guest suprabass
If they did build it I hope they had nothing to do with the fitting of the turbo. Thanks to everyone who has pointed out the other thread. The car is a devlopment/ competition car for Cosworth that will be used to develop a new range of produsts for the 2JZGTE engine. It will be competeing in the British Drift Championship in 2011 and other events across Europe. To Answer the questions about the Engine. Cosworth are going to be producing a full range of products for the 2JZGTE engine over the next year or so with the SATS SUPRA being the development car, the current engine spec from what Ive got in front of me is. Cosworth Billet Pistons 87mm (which will be produced and realised very soon in a few sizes) Cosworth Connecting Rods Cosworth Head Gasket 1.8mm Cosworth Gasket Kit Cosworth Bearing Kit Polished and Balanced Crank Titan Stage 4 Head 280 Cams All Built Together in the F1 Engine Rooms at Cosworth HQ Should be a nice engine with the T51R SPL turbo thats on in just got to get some miles on in at get it run in properly before we put the Pectel ECU in to get it finally mapped. Have been working hard with Cosworth behind the scenes all last year to make this happen for the supra community and the are happy to listen to sugestions on products that will work on the supra, they will be realising details very soon about the piston Range and the rest will follow. The Vin Plate was made by Cosworth must tell them to do better lol Just wondering whats wrong with the fitting of the turbo? Think it goes exactly were every other T51R should go on the 2jzgte? The water lines run under the turbo, it just looks weird in that picture. Edited January 22, 2011 by suprabass (see edit history)
