This is state of play on the my latest health saga, Leukaemia. Second bone marrow aspiration shows the first block of Chemo has sent it into Full remission. One down side is my liver has taken a battering from one of the many drugs I've been on, so I'm only on two at the moment, an anti viral and an other that stops a particular nasty strain of pneumonia. As a result, my saliva has return and my swallowing improved to the point I can now eat (4 weeks of no solid food and build up drinks takes it's toll and was no fun at all). I currently weigh 10.5 stone which is the first time in my life my height and weight have been in balance (I look like Gollum though, not a pretty sight.). Ian, my brother is as a tissue match so I can have his stem cells which is great as a sibling dna match for a bone marrow transplant is the best there is.

So all the signs are good, fingers crossed.

You sir are awesome! Positive thinking can always lead to positive results & here is a prime example of that. Very inspiring hearing you battle through this & fighting back!

Hope things all go well!
