jackso11
I have a set of tein shocks on the way and will be using the standard top mounts. What is the difference between standard top mounts and another type? other than the looks of course. In other words should I buy some different ones? i.e. Tein ones? Nic
If your OEM ones are in good condition there's no advantage in swapping them other than looks.
jackso11
that is exactly what I wanted to hear
Scott
You will probably be better off with OEM ones, they are pretty good. The only advantage you can get from aftermarket topmounts is if they are adjustable and you want some crazy geo done lol.
Tricky-Ricky
Some Tein shocks actually come with similar type of top mounts to std, which are good if yours are in need of replacement, the other type thats being referred to are top mounts with solid spherical bearings, some are fixed and some are adjustable, but they also give a rather harsh ride.
