JustGav
Very nice.... Don't rate the cockpit much Bit erm, soviet style (ie you could take a hammer to it to start it)
johnny g
Always amazes me how the Soviet shuttle is like the US one. Convergent evolution or espionage? Great pics!
JustGav
Always amazes me how the Soviet shuttle is like the US one. Convergent evolution or espionage? Great pics! Lessons learnt from the STS design and improved (blatantly pinched blueprints). Little things such as the Buran was designed to a powered glider, so they didn't have to aim and hope for the best on the landing. It was also remote control, I 'believe' (needs clarifying) but the only time it flew it was fly-by-wire and empty.

Soop Dogg
I love the old grey UAZ van parked up in one of those pics. Bonkers vehicle - they still make them today - built like a ship! (1/2" thick steel and no suspension!!)
