Nic
Can you post a pic of the harness, should be able to tell if it is an MR2 specific one or universal.
Tricky-Ricky
It should already have a universal cable, as thats how they come, the only car specific part it could have is an ECU fields harness that enables it to be connected to this rather than straight to the ECU harness, so you will be able to remove it from the fields harness and graft into you ECU harness. Nic
The MR2 specific harness as you say will have a bridging harness with plugs on it to fit between the ECU and wiring loom, the other end will plug into the Emanage. The universal harness will just have the plugs for the Emanage, the other end open so it can be spliced onto the loom.

Tricky-Ricky
Yep thats just the universal harness that they come with, so providing you have a wiring diagram for both the ECU and the emanage you should be fine.

w41k3r
cheers for the help both of you, one, well two more things, is the mr2 going to use similar wires to the supra and is that the only harness i need? (off to find wiring diagram)
Tricky-Ricky
Yes there are the two plugs there, you will have all the connection's you will need there, its just that different engines will use different wires, differences in things like whether the car has MFA or MAP sensors etc, but essentially the same types of connection's.
