lightwave
Me again. Just in case anybody's interested, I thought I'd post this here again, before it goes on ebay... Remember this? APR GT spoiler, "The Fast & The Furious" style, but custom mirror polished. The original standard APR spoiler is sand blasted with no shine. I had this done in the USA and shipped over to the UK from suprastore.com even before I had a Supra. I think it cost about $500 + shipping. Anyway, it's a large GT spoiler, with carbon fibre ends, two wings (the top one is adjustable). It came with the standard APR mounts, but when I had the spoiler fitted the mounting position was moved to prevent fouling of the rear wiper arm. This spoiler does not fit the stock spoiler holes, so some work will be required to mount it and make good your old spoiler holes I'm afraid. So if you want to fit this to your Supra, there are two options: Use the original mounting holes and never use your rear wiper (unless you've removed it, in which case it's a non-issue). Or use the new mounting holes and don't worry about it. You won't notice the extra mounting holes under the spoiler unless you're looking for them. This spoiler has been custom polished to a mirror shine, however, since I wrote off my Supra in 2005 , it's been sitting in my garage, and it could do with a little TLC. If you're handy with Brasso, and are prepared to put in some elbow grease, I'm sure it'll come back to new. The wings are aluminium, so they don't rust, but be aware it's not in the lovely condition it was when it was new. What else? Well, it's a large spoiler, granted. It suites a large car like the Supra and it's supposed to sit up high in the air flow - see the attached pictures. I'm not certain about postage - pick up would be ideal, but I'd manage to work something out if you can't get to Southampton area to get it. I'll take £50 for it if anyone's interested. PM me. These are the pictures I have of it when it was on my car, when the car was all in one piece...
pedrosixfour
If you take the legs and end caps off the wing, pack it all safely in a long sturdy box with my address on it and hand it to the nice man from DHL I'd be happy to send you £60 for it. Hmm, well, it's an offer I suppose. It's a bit low, but I'll be honest; trying to find a courier that will take a package this large (about 1800mm long) is proving difficult. I might have to say it's collection only. Not to mention, I don't have a long sturdy box to put it in. Sorry chap. Its a fair price! Am I the only one that doesn't like those wheels? Yes. Yes, you are.

lightwave
FYI - The wheels went years ago I'm afraid. If anyone wants some, you can probably still buy them through Envy Performance or Sumo Power in the UK. They are hand-made in Japan and take about 3 months to order. I went for the polished finish, but they also do Champagne Gold and Hyper Black. They're Do-Luck Double Six wheels, and seven years ago, set me back about £2,250 new. Tyres were Goodyear Eagle F1's at about £150 each from Micheldever Tyres. But no, I don't have them. Sorry! ...But I do recommend them.
pedrosixfour
parcel2go.com will definitley offer a DHL delivery service from your door to mine. With the main body of the wing being aluminium I am prepared to accept the item being disassembled, properly bubble wrapped and then taped up securely if a suitable box cannot be found in the UK. I'll up the offer to £65, the money is waiting.

Matt H
Am I the only one that doesn't like those wheels? You don't like Do-luck Double 6's? On another note, how can you keep that spoiler looking spot on if it's polished? Is there anything on to protect it?

Is there anything on to protect it? Not particularly no, I just think they look cheap. As for the polished spoiler problem, it might not stay a polished finish. Its going onto the track car so bling is a second consideration. But if it did stay as it is (after a buffing) I'd put a clearcoat over the wing.
