Suprab1
Anyone with a 7,8 or 9. I have heard about corrosion on the plug harness in the passenger footwell a few times. I thought nothing of it until i went out to the garage lastnight just to check & guess what it's corroded & one of my pins is snapped of completly. Here's a link on mlr & it really is worth checking out if you have a Evo 7,8 or 9. http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=355126

Scott
Yeah I read it, good heads up for people with those cars. Easy to avoid too if you know about it
j_jza80
Visible, and potentially worrying for Evo owners.
Suprab1
Anyone know where i can find out what these wires are for? I think one block is for the fuel pump (top left) but i need to find out what the 2 blocks nearest the door are for.
Scott
What wires?
Suprab1
What wires? There is 4 plugs in the passenger footwell & i need to find out what the 2 plugs nearest the door are for. Basically the car has a bad splutter at low rpm & i have the car stripped down cleaning all the intake & now i am fixing the wiring. I just want to know if any of the corroded wires could be the problem before i get my hopes up & build it back togeather. If not i will keep searching while i'm this far into it. GazzaGSi
Thanks for the heads up, will check mine this afternoon. Had some fun in it in the snow so wouldn't be suprised if some snow/salt followed the loom down there Cheers
