nevins
May of had this done when I was younger, I had kidney problems which resulted in renal failure and was used to trace through my system to see if I was recovering from treatment. neo2810
Contrast dye is nothing. I had a bone scan last week and was injected with radiation for it. I was told if I was flying anywhere over the next few days I'd trigger any radiation detectors some airports have I did try shoot web out of my wrist but sadly that failed. scorling
I had a stomach scan last year, and if you are having the same type of scan the only weird part is how it warms up in your body, a really strange experience. I also had a nurse firing my blood across the room! No side effects though, apart from having to wait weeks for the results and then finding I had a problem! Gaz6002
I had it when I broke my neck. Nothing to worry about, like said above it just gets a bit warm when they take the scan.

dandan
Had it a couple of times, never any problems. Warm feeling is interesting though - made me feel like I pee'd myself!

Ah wait, I DID have the dye when I have my CT a couple of years ago. I remember the nurse telling me it may feel like I had pee'd myself, and she was right.
