I have a 1994 J-Spec Supra TT GZ and I have recently bought a Medalion Touring 3" Exhaust :)

I will be looking for the 2 decat downpipes to fit into the system.......

Considering the car has stock TT.s and will have a 2" restrictor plate fitted, do would I be best served using 3" decat pipes...or would 2&1/2 " suffice :search:

Thanks D

If you go with the 2.5" decat you will probably need to open out the 2" restrictor ring as I think those measurements are based on 3" rather than 2.5". Is there much of a difference in price? It's always going to be a case of the free'er the better IMO, so I would get the 3" decats and be done with it :D

i have the 2.5 decats on my j-spec TT with a 2 inch (1 Bar) restrictor and a Tanabe concept blue G.

and was pushing just over 1 Bar before i plumbed in my boost controller.

i cant really see any reason for getting a 3 inch decat unless u have a uk spec supra because u have to restrict it anyways.

Have a look at garagewhiffbitz.com and have a look at there double decat pipes.

i have them on my supra the build quality and fitment is superb
