The Raven
Just gone and got mine, all stores around me showing more coming thursday. Time for real racing. Or in my case crashing!
foggy147
You will find the game is much better with it, have you got a stand though?

The Raven
Right, i think its broken. Its nearly impossible to turn the wheel! Have i set it up wrong? Like a real struggle to turn the wheel. Its going back tomorrow.
Graham S
I've never thought about anything like that... Is Argos the cheapest place to get it? (£81) Will have to put it on my Birthday list! But how do you guys use it? My PS3 is in our bedroom (to stop the kids playing my PS3!!) and I don't have a table or whatever to put the wheel on.. Does it work on your lap? foggy147
Have you connected it up properly? As in via the mains adapter as well as the usb? Alot of people just think you need to power it with the usb but they both need to be plugged in
The Raven
Yeah its all plugged in and corrected itself. I think its not broken just the settings are out. I ended up in some gravel last night and the wheel was easy to move, the second i got back on the track it was back to being set in stone. I will try and swap the tyres back to soft, and turn the force feedback down. Then i guess i will take it back. Gutted isnt the word i was really looking forward to it too. shima60
I'm using my old pc wheel for GT5 the old logitech Momo Force hehe works a treat. just can't use the shifter so have to use paddle flappys but not to much of an issue. force feedback rules
Scott
Got my force GT tonight. Had a quick shot there and man it's hard. The game feels sooooooo much more involving though which is fantastic. I haven't went for full sim yet, I went for professional in the settings to get a feel for it. I tried manual too, with the shifter, but I didn't stand a chance. It really is like learning to drive again, racing sims are nothing like real driving lol.
The Raven
Are you having the same issue as me? Even when the wheel starts up before the game is on, its hard to turn the wheel.

ScottC
Are you having the same issue as me? Even when the wheel starts up before the game is on, its hard to turn the wheel. Sounds like yours doesn't have power steering.
2JG
Are you having the same issue as me? Even when the wheel starts up before the game is on, its hard to turn the wheel. I wonder if it's worth comparing settings with another gt wheel before taking it back. I can have a look at my settings tonight and post them on here if you want? Scott
If it makes any difference I didn't change any settings. I just plugged it in and went for a run.
2JG
Same here, never had any issues. Even when the mains power is off I can still turn the wheel
