Well... in that case at least pop by from time to time... your knowledge and advice is often very needed... and of course the sarcasm!!!!;)

Yes. I have missed that. It's like having a Scottish brother on here.

I have always thought I would go with a bang eventually, but I am still around poking fun at newbies and retards. Sometimes both in the same username..!!

No he's been a lazy ass git, thats what.... :p

Correct :D

Although it's not laziness that's holding me back now, struggling to get the little bits and bobs to get it all finished.

Wastegate gasket

Radiator drain plug

Need a bit of alloy welding done for my intercooler pipe

Just about everything else is ready to bolt back together. Little odds and sods are always the PITA though.

Scott is it just a standard radiator drain plug? as i have one kicking about that you can have

Unfortunately not mate, thanks for the offer though :)

I bought an ASI rad on the forum but I didn't check it over when it got delivered. Almost a year passed before I got ready to fit it and noticed the plug wasn't there, I tried to find out what thread it was etc to no avail. I believe it's the same as Koyo rads though, although those are 10mm x 1.0mm and I'm sure I tried a bit of rod with that thread. I've honestly contemplated just getting another rad as it's doing my head in. Very little help out there for replacing rad plugs. However, if it does turn out to be 10x1 then I believe the 200sx (among other Nissans) has that size drain plug so this will be my solution. It's been a year in the making though, all the little things just built up and I couldn't be bothered with it any more. Time to get the finger out though :)

Ahhhhh i see, perhaps ask Lee @ SRD as his Radiators seem very similar to the ASI, so perhaps the drain plugs are the same.

Either way, its nice to see you cracking on with it, sarcasm was at an all time low for a while :D

I contacted Lee last week but unfortunately he doesn't have access to spare plugs. The rads are indeed ASI/Koyo copies though so the plugs may well be the same.

I honestly bought about 20 bolts last year, all different threads & pitches, and couldn't get one to fit. I tried taper, straight and everything inbetween. Looking at the pics of the rads I believe they are straight plugs though, as I think there's a washer at the shoulder to create the actual seal :)
