Help [sHOCK][/sHOCK]

I have a Supra 1993 nonTurbo that has been diagnosed with an head gasket failure.

So far the engine is running fine, just drinking coolant.

I'm in Margate, Kent.

Any ideas?

thanks

Take it to a decent garage and get the fault verified, if it is the head gasket you need to have the head checked that its not warped in case its overheated. If the heads not warped fit new gasket job done.

If the heads warped by any decent amount you'll need a new one, it could be cheaper to just fit a complete engine as their apparently quite cheap.

The head gasket leak was verified by Toyota in Canterbury through a sniffer test.

where can I get a new engine? I'm in Kent.

What is quite cheap?

Is there anyone out there (in the forum) that has enough mechanics knowledge to perform the repair (the cambelt is also due in 5000miles) and wants to buy the car?

Anybody with experience in running the car drinking coolant?

thanks
