Scott
He wasn't the hacker. Can you still be black listed if you join a random hacked game? Edit Just noticed he and his brother aren't in my friends list so either they have disowned me or they have been black listed Not sure on the ins and outs of it. If you are seen to be getting mixed up with the hackers, you will be banned though.
ScottC
Am I right in thinking this has all suddenly come about because they (who ever they are) decided it would be clever to hack the PS3 key chain?

Kind of. It was incredibly clever and complex though They are banning anyone seen to be using a "device" to do anything untoward on the systems. There are certain "hacks" that can only be done using this method so they are being targeted.
ScottC
I don't really care how clever or complex it was. If it's going to make the online gaming on the PS3 unplayable then they've fooked it up for the millions of users how don't give a monkeys. It doesn't mess up any of the online gaming. In fact it is getting rid of all the hackers and people who DO ruin the online experience. It has been a long time coming and it is good to see Sony doing something about it. Not sure if you just picked works out of my reply and decided to reply based on them. If you read what I wrote you will see I mentioned that it is the hackers getting banned and the people getting involved with them.
ScottC
Sorry misunderstood, I thought because the PS3 got hacked it just opened the flood gates for games to be continuously hacked.
Scott
Sorry misunderstood, I thought because the PS3 got hacked it just opened the flood gates for games to be continuously hacked. Ahh, yeah that did happen. It happened before the recent exploits though, just not to the same extent. The fact that code could be signed meant you could get away with just about anything..... hence Sony getting their act together
stevie_b
Worst was the other day, I have the picture on my phone, one of my team members was a dustbin. Anyways as I watched the idiot, it was a dustbin running around killing the other team! "When dustbins turn bad...."
